From DZ Deathrays and Violent Soho all the way back to Powderfinger, Brisbane has always been a breeding ground for chart-topping Aussie musos.
Racking up more than one million Spotify streams and jumping to second spot on the iTunes Charts following the release of their debut EP Windward two years back, Boatkeeper look to be on a similar trajectory.
It’s all about that laid-back sun and surf soul for these fellas currently embarking on their first ever nationwide tour promoting sophomore indie-folk EP, Vessels that has been described by both critics and fans alike simply as “brilliant”.
With six brand new charming bops, Boatkeeper promise to bring the heat when they take to NightQuarter this Friday, finally giving Gold Coasters the chance to catch a glimpse of the legendary on-stage charisma that has resulted in screaming crowds and sold-out venues across the country.
“Boatkeeper return with a build that Noah would be happy with.”
- Declan Byrne Triple J.
"Vessels is a record filled with everything you need to get hooked – brilliant music, an array of emotions, and six songs you’ll fall in love with for different reasons."
- Music Is My Muse.
