Port Adelaide was dealt a blow on the sidelines for their Showdown...with a weird injury to normal runner Chad Cornes.
LISTEN TO THE AUDIO:
According to Triple M boundary rider Jack McKenna Cornes was pulled from the game after hurting his knee.
But it was the way he did it that raised an eyebrow or two.
“There’s been a change of personnel down here on the sideline for Port Adelaide,” McKenna explained on the boundary.
“He’s been replaced by Scott Thompson, the 300-game Crow midfielder."
