Albany’s Amazing Field Of Light Is A Must See

See Captain Paul’s videos

Captain Paul had the honour of visiting the amazing Field Of Light installation in Albany, an immersive art installation by Bruce Munro illuminating the Avenue of Honour at Mt Clarence in homage to the Anzacs who departed from Albany for the Great War.

As the video above highlights, it truly is a poignant, fitting tribute to the sacrifice of war, at a place which holds a deep significance for many Australians and their families.

For anyone visiting Albany or its surrounds, it's an absolute must.

The exhibition opens each evening, from sunset until 10pm. More details can be found at the Field Of Light Albany website.

Seeing Paul spent the weekend in Albany, he thought he'd take his drone for a spin, catching the fantastic sights and sounds of this beautiful, historic town.

Paul saw many of the sights, including the natural wonders of The Gap and Natural Bridge. He also caught up with more of Albany's deep connection with the Great War, visiting the amazing National ANZAC Centre and the monument at Mount Clarence.

Of course, it wasn't all sightseeing. He found time to drop into Limeburners Distillery and Three Anchors at Middleton Beach, where he had the most delicious curry.

The beauty of Albany doesn't just lie within, either. There are a heap of things to do around Albany, and Paul simply couldn't help himself.

Paul also found time to visit Denmark (his second home), where he got his trusty drone out to capture the beauty of Denmark and catch just a few of the epic beaches that line our amazing south coast.
