A 17-year-old will face court on the Gold Coast after allegedly breaking into homes and stealing cars in an early morning crime spree.
Police will claim the teenager snuck into a Mudgeeraba residence around 1am on Tuesday, and took the keys to a silver Mazda, which drove off in and later dumped on Mudgeeraba Road.
He then allegedly then broke into the garage of a Tallai home around 2 o'clock and took a Toyota Hilux which he crashed into a home on Langport Drive, Mudgeeraba a short time later, causing some damage to the house.
He fled the scene but was arrested nearby and charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of burglary and enter with intent.
He was due to go before a Magistrate in Southport on Tuesday.
