Three people have died after a house fire at Everton Hills, in Brisbane's north.
Emergency services were called to Pavonia Street about 5:40am on Tuesday, finding the place well alight.
It took six crews about 30 minutes to get the blaze under control, but they were still trying to fully extinguish it at about 7am, according to QFES.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said three patients were assessed on scene but were not taken to hospital.
It's believed an explosion may have sparked the fire.
"A neighbour heard an explosion, we also spoke to one neighbour who gave us advice that there was some yelling beforehand," said Daniel Bragg from QPS.
Investigations are continuing.
